The Ulricehamn Tunnel

The Ulricehamn Tunnel is a 400-metre-long road tunnel to the west of Ulricehamn, Sweden, some 90 kilometers east of Gothenburg. The tunnel is part of the new section of the R40 road passing Ulricehamn, which was opened in October 2015.

In this project Trafsys was the total supplier of all the different Intelligent Transportation Systems with Bravida Sverige as the customer. The scope of supply included the local surveillance, detection and control systems as well as the SCADA system. The radio system, emergency roadside telephones and communications network were also included.
